This was our second season filming the action at Camp Woodward for the Fuel TV team. Capturing all the crazy skateboard, bmx, surfing action from above is a whole lot of fun.

This show will feature some of the most dangerous roads on earth. This is a perfect application for HeliVideo’s rc aerials. The weather and the rough terrain would have made it impossible to highlight the gorgeous aerial view of the “Road of Death” in any other way.

This stretch of road serves up an explosive cocktail – 2 parts icy conditions, to 1 part nasty hairpin turns. Our RC Aerial platform is ideally suited to getting the shots for this show. Despite the unpredictable weather and the rough terrain, our rc helicopters were able to get  low altitude aerials that really show the Moki Dugway in all it’s spine tingling glory. This is RC aerial video at its best!

We got to be a part of several episodes for this new prime time thriller. Our RC aerial cinematography platform was able to lend a unique look to Oren Peli’s latest work.

It was great to work with an amazing crew, including director Bob Simon and actor Bruce Greenwood, seen above with HeliVideo’s Eric Austin.

Check out this behind the scenes look at the RC aerial footage we shot for Discovery HD’s new pilot, “Mary Hills Loop Road”.

The show’s concept is all about putting cars to their paces on the winding wonder, Mary Hills Loop Road. The HeliVideo crew got a chance to show what an RC helicam can bring to a project like this. We shot some fantastic close-in rc aerials, panning over, following behind and coming head on as the cars wound their way around the loop. Look for the show on Discovery HD!

We had the amazing experience of working with the CBS 48 Hours crew to bring this tragic, but also heroic, tale to life with a little rc aerial cinematography.

It was a privilege for us to add some rc aerial shots of the railway and the fields in the opening dream sequence. Take a look.
